Thanks for visiting 14ers4Kids!  The purpose of this project is to help support 12 special needs orphans in China via Half the Sky Foundation.  Climbing mountains and helping children, that is 14ers4Kids.  Each of the children have special needs and unfortunately this will prevent them from ever being adopted.  The foster families that we helped place them in last year have been key to the kids making some amazing progress.  Your tax-deductible donation will go to support these families so they can contine to love and nourish these children over the next year.

New climbing team! We have a great group of climbers joining in to support the project.  We will be making an attempt at one of the more difficult 14ers this coming Saturday.  Our goal is to summit Mt Lindsey. At 14,042 ft it's not one of the tallest but it is a Class 4 route. For those not familiar with the ranking system, Class 1 is a slight slope or the easiest.  Class 5 is like a wall, technical climbing, so Class 4 is going to be pretty challenging! I will be posting more about the team and the climb soon.  Please consider showing support for the climbing team in the form of a donation to help the children.   Thanks!
